I see.
But I like those simple dot eyes and line mouth you gave her here in your design. Makes her look more toyish. Plus the blue colour.
I tend to like plumpier and cartoony toys over those streamlined and "realistic" ones.
lso dig toys that are more animal like rather than just a fancily decorated raft or mattress. Personally I think those kinds of designs are lazy. Unfortunately, most production models are like that.
If I want a whale, I want the toy to be shaped like a whale.
If it's a sea dragon, I want it to be a sea dragon.
Pony, then it should be a pony in shape.
Just my preference here.
I know everyone has their thing. And this raft does look like I can use it to take on a voyage through the lake.

I see this the same, shape is more important to me than paint.
Using vinyl not all the details of the shape can be made so it is better to make the toy simple, fairytale animal rather than to try to model real animal and finish it with the paint.
Personally I really do enjoy kayaking and this is something in between. In is a Nessie who happily can take you anywhere on water. Which I hope will become real soon,

I hope too.
Maybe the complexity of other animals are the reason why simple cetaceans and sharks seem to dominate the mainstream consumer scene.
I like toys with as less seams as possible. It doesn't have to be too detailed.
You know those seahorse toys you see in 1950s photos right? Why can't they make those types anymore? They're usually simple in design and cute, ridable.
