Ref sheet for Kokemusume! (Kokechi for short)
Kokemusume is a pun on on Japanese words. Read one way, her name sounds like a combination of the words "kokemusu" (moss-covered) and "me" (eyes) making her name translate roughly to "moss-covered eyes." Read another way however it sounds like the words "koke" (moss) and "musume" (daughter) making her name ALSO mean "daughter of moss."
Species-wise, she most closely resembles a Canadian lynx and a white-tailed deer as far as I can tell. Whether or not I just end up calling her a "lynxdeer" or come up with brand new species name entirely is still undecided.
Her color scheme and bib are based on Jizo statues.
