A race made by the kami to serve them. After the accusation of a revolt, the kami banished their kind to Earth. Upon crossing the bridge between Takama-ga-hara and Earth they sized down and gained a weakness towards the sun.
This caused them to dwell in caves and other dim places until a parasol maker discovered them and made them parasols. They now help the humans where they can as a thank you and integrated in to society unlike other yokai.


ANATOMY AND BREEDING

They have the same internal anatomy as humans, but appear more anthro on the outside. Touching one, they can either be smooth and fleshy feeling like a human or have very very short fur.
The traits they posess such as the sash and bow around their waist and the holds on their neck as the "kimono" trait are their skin! They cannot take off the sash or anything else on their body. This is their pure state and because of this reason they typically do not wear normal people clothing. It is possibly to wear them, though.
Their skin is sensitive to the sun, so they carry a parasol with them. If exposed to direct sunlight hitting their skin for 3 or more minuts it can escalate to a simple sunburn to a higher degree burn that leaves marks.

For breeding, they do breed like normal humans as well.

DIET

They are herbivores but lean on an omnivore diet. It doesn't take much to get them full and they can survive the day on a small bowl of rice.
