One way I have of coping with these troubling times is to lose myself in old movies - especially old musicals, comedies and swashbucklers. Or one of my favorites, 'The Court Jester' with Danny Kaye, which is all three.
If you haven't seen it, Danny imitates a fake-Robin-Hood type called the Black Fox, and does a very catchy song to introduce himself. Parallels are obvious.
