It must be terrifying to see a Winter Wyvern ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21463555/ ), and even more if you consider that those are also prey for apex predators like the lion dragons or archdragons. Reaching serveral times the size and weight of the wyvern those creatures are equally more destructive and intelligent.
They have more than one way to kill you, like a whipe of their powerfull tail, the big clawed paws, their razor sharp sword sized teeth, their massive horns to name just a few and not even to mention that their gaze alone is enough to let you catch fire, once they reach a certain age...oh right, speakign of the age, those creatures seem to be immortal by time or at least live serveral milenia each.
Often they are acompished by the small ghostly dragonlings that feed on the wild magic the archdragons release when they fight.
Yet I don't want to fail and mention that there are documentated cases of those enormous creatures in which a dialoge was in fact possible..before they reduced the unkucky fool to ash in around every second case.
