A species i'm currently workin towards developing, and I really, _really_ love them so far ;7;.

Basic Info
Normally standing at a standard 6 ft. , these massive clawed beasts are known as Vergeists.
They are a very intimidating presence at first, but are in actuality very gentle and graceful in their ways. They are known to occasionally imprint on some lucky few and serve as their guardians and protectors, likely to stick with that individual till their death, and carry on it's duty by looking after the next of kin.
Their horns carry a great deal of magical energy, that of which they only ever use to heal and nourish their families and or chosen companions, but while this magic is generally for healing purposes, there are a select few Vergeists that use iT with malicious intent.
