During a battle amid the rooftops, Corvo the criminal mercenary mercilessly skewers the innocent and childlike Gelbold with his sword, malicious grin on his face. He finds the abject suffering of the bard amusing. The gel-kobold sinks to the ground, tears forming in his eyes at the unaccustomed pain. this makes the man grin even more amusedly.
Suddenly his amusement turns to abject terror. The skies all seem to darken except for one point of piercing light in the form of an angel, flaming sword in hand. Behind her a gun clicks to the ready and points at him. The man realizes he will soon draw his last breath. For Gelbold has powerful allies. And though one of them is an angel of mercy, one thing you never want to do with an angel is to royally PISS THEM OFF.

Divine Judgment (Sp)
At 7th level, when a vindicator’s melee attack reduces a creature to –1 or fewer hit points, he may sacrifice a prepared 2nd-level spell or available 2ndlevel spell slot to invoke death knell upon the target as an immediate action (using the vindicator’s caster level). As vindicators mete out divine judgment, this is not an evil act.

It's been said many times by now, but Sapphire is the picture of mercy and compassion. But when an unrepentant evil rears its head and puts innocent lives in danger, she reveals a side of her more dangerous and terrifying than most mortal lives have seen. When all possible peaceful resolutions have been done away with, an evil person will face judgment for their crimes.
