Like I explained it's a Finnish wordplay and the joke is that we dont know if he meant that the coffee was flat or if it was a latte since the words are the same in Finnish haha.
Ya the joke is that in Finnish ''lattea'' means lame/dull/plain/flat etc. and ''latte'' means, well, latte. And in that sentece ''latte'' bends as ''lattea'', making it unclear if he meant that the coffee was flat or if it was a latte.
