So, as I was sick for a few weeks there and wouldn't get off my lazy ass to post anything for you good people, how about today we do us a, pardon my "management speak"... compliment sandwich. Eh? We'll have a littl bit of the fun, something more serious and then s'more of the fun stuff. Sound good?

Well, it fucking better, as this isn't a real-time conversation and if I hear n actual audible reply it'll be in my own head and that means I'm off my meds again, time in the white coat for me and Dr Honeydew's favourite assistant...

So, anywho- Sailor Moon- Bishoujo Senshi, love it, always have. Melodrama, romance, hijinks and spinny transforming super-powered fun. Power Rangers, Super Sentai, love it, always have. High-flying wire-fu with cartoony explosions and dialogue so corny you could serve it up with butter and maybe some salt'n'pepper(depending on your tastes. I don't judge you). So wonderful, so fun, so... very much alike! Which for some reason I seem to be in this odd little minority of the people who enjoy one, the other or both in that I don't really mind that. If anything I find it adorable, the similarities...

But sometimes not nearly as adorable as the looks of sheer horror on the faces of either fandom if you point this little factoid out to them. Truly an act for the shit-stirrer in all of us. *cackles*
