It's been a while since I've taken to the night skies in a quiet place. I visited a peaceful cemetery I'd found a short while back to complete a set from last year. Barking dogs make this a difficult place to shoot, regardless of how quiet you slip in.

I've shot her before, but was unhappy with the amount of noise from my first trip. As untelling as my wide angle lens is, my camera was pretty close to the monument. Staring up into those silent stone eyes is actually very unnerving, and reminded me of the sphinx's eyes from the Never Ending Story.
