I don't think Paul is fooling anyone on panel 4. Ah well. The fact that she actually has legitimate problems doesn't change the fact that she's a teenager.
I decided to add some dramatic lighting for this one (and the next one). I think it worked out pretty well.

My wife had this comic open when she closed firefox, I was curious when I saw it come up when I got online. I'm transgendered myself, MTF, and this just really got to me. You don't see many things showing what it's like for those that are TG, or those around them. Even where there isn't a lot of fear in people towards someone that's TG, it's still hard for people to understand and relate to, let alone draw and portray it in a way that others can understand. Thank you for this comic, now I just need to get the tears to stop again.
It can be the little things that count...I know strangers don't any better and stuff, but every time I get called sir or young man at work it feels kind of insulting...and I hate being called handsome when I go through such effort to try to look at least remotely pretty.
