Wow not bad, pretty nifty up-beat song. I can totally imagine this for either an island/beach setting or a sort of bright "summer"-theme town! Could even be a really good ending theme song, (in fact I think it fits best as an ending theme song than anything) either to end a game or a chapter of something.
MIDI is not a style or instrument, it's a communication protocol for actual expensive synths to talk to each other as well as computers.
What you used are just empty placeholder sounds for when you don't have a real instrument.
On the other hand, you sound pretty versatile with sounds, but this could've benefitted from some actual instruments. :q
