So I downloaded SAI Paint Tool yesterday (the fanart version, go and check  onta s journals and submissions for more information and a nifty pastel tool set he created!) - and I'm in love. I'm in love, love, love! This paint tool is awesome, the rotation function, it's handy all the way, the brush tool is just _made_ for digital inking it seems and I haven't even played around with the settings yet.

So this Gruslen is a petpet-species at Neopets.com ™ - I've always wanted to do some fanarts of one of my petpets (a spotted gruslen, male, called Asikh :> *wave to Jasiri at this point*) and thought it was nice to try it out with SAI. Though I didn't get the playfully crumpled ears right of a pet with large ears rolling on the floor I'm still rather satisfied and I know I had not been had I sketched it in AR2 and then tried to ink it in PS - that's a pain!

So although it's a WIP since it still needs colouring and a proper background etc. etc. I decided to upload and share :D - no, this is not my usual style, of course.

And yes, I do play Neopets :P - don't dare to laugh at me or I'll chase you, and I'm a zoom-zoom-turbo-kitty with spots! So there's noooooo way you could ever escape me >:D
