I currently don't have a tutorial myself, but there are certainly many out there that will help! In my personal experience, hot glue tends to be the easiest/best way to attach the fur to the blank after the whole thing has been sewn together. It helps to score/scratch up the surface a bit to make sure the glue adheres nice and strong.
There are a ton of great artists out there who have made a lot of good visual tutorials for things like this, but one of my best recommendations is a timelaps/tutorial video series by Kloofsuits on youtube, in which she goes over the entire process of making a head from scratch. Although it's a foam based head, a lot of the methods she used can easily be replicated on a resin head with no problem! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TYbJAVm8ew That video in particular may be helpful to answer your exact question, but I suggest watching the entire series, as well as many of her other videos!
In time, I do hope to offer tutorials, but my main focus for now is providing a variety of blanks and the accessories to go with them. Once my shop is in a good spot, I'll be able to focus on things like that next!
The best advice I can personally leave you with, is to not be afraid to just go for it! I put off making fursuits for a long time, because I was afraid of messing up, or that it would come out bad, but even if you have a fluke, it's all a part of learning. With every new thing you make, you get better, and the same goes for fursuits. Right now, my blanks are at a lower price to keep up with the cost of supplies vs demand, so if you're just getting started and you're looking for a price that won't break the bank, I'm hoping I can help you out. Once I release the other blanks in the "Universal" series, the price is liable to change when I'm able to meet a better balance.
I wish you the best of luck with any and all of your future attempts to make anything! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to provide answers in any way I can! c:

Awesome! I can't wait to see what you make with it! :D Whenever you finish it, feel free to email pics of it to FossilFueledFX[at]Gmail.com to have it submitted to be featured on the facebook page! I'm excited to share artist's work created with my products, both to help show what can be done with them, and to spotlight all the amazing work that other artists can make!
So I had a question.
I usually would go to DVC but I LOVE your bases !
I was wanting to know how long does it take to ship one out?
I know with DVC it takes about 3 weeks for them.. which can be annoying.
Ive been wanting to make premades , and I would LOVE to be able to start using your base instead of theres

That's a wonderful question! As of right now, my average processing time takes about a week. I will be changing schedules my job in about a month, so it may change from that, but I'm hoping it won't. As for shipping, it varies from location to location. Within the US tends to be fairly quick, usually within a week or so from the day it's shipped, though it can still vary depending on the postal service's schedule. I have no way of knowing how long out of state orders take to arrive, as they have to be handled through customs. I hope that answers your question! If you have any others, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer!
Hi there, thanks for asking! Both the S hinge and the V hinge are designed to make the mouth open and close for each mask. The only major difference is the way the jaw opens. People with smaller heads tend to fit more comfortably with an S hinge, because the S hinge moves more like a real skeleton's jaw. It's sort of 'anchored' in place and can only open more like how a natural jaw can. Smaller heads usually line up better with that style. People with slightly larger heads usually prefer the V hinge because it has the ability to completely open the mouth a full 180 degrees, and your jaw doesn't necessarily have to line up with it. Some bases will take better to one hinge style than others, but for the Universal Toony Series, they take well to either one! I hope that helps explain it a little more clearly. If you're ever worried about buying your first base, I always suggest starting with the V hinges until you're more familiar with the different types, and which ones fit you more comfortably. They'll both work for any head, but one may be more comfortable than the other based on your own personal preference.
These will be around for quite a long time, so there's no worry! The only one that might disappear for a short while is the Short Muzzle style, simply because the mold is rather old at this point and starting to show signs that it might break soon. It will temporarily go off the market for a short while while a new mold is made, but that's all!
