I had a lot of freetime in the art room on Friday, because I was allowed in there while the middle school was using the room.
I eventually ran out of projects for my redraw (I couldn't access my remaining old sketches to redraw them because the school's filter blocks photobucket,) and noticed that there were a lot of mostly intact cardboard pieces laying around the room from paintings and sculptures other students had done.
So, I did a few chalk sketches.
This one wound up being Torie...again.
I see it as being right when, or shortly after he was forced into his first 'change'--no longer Vincent, he is now merely Salvatore. Hair's dyed, contacts aren't in.
"This is not me..."
A bit sadness to the gaze--mostly tiredness, perhaps.More the little stare anyone does when they catch themselves in the mirror, after sufficiently changing.

Mhm. While I can't call Torie self-centered, he's considerably...self-focused. He still cares about others as human beings, yes, but sees them as likely to get in the way--and typically doubts their capability. He's, additionally, become rather prone to living his entire life (outside of work, of course,) simply chasing one carnal pleasure after another.
Gah.
