How to be a Hero (And Part-Time Dragon) - cover art
Cover artwork for a fantasy novel written by my friend
Airyuu! The e-book is available here: https://www.amazon.com/How-be-Hero-...../dp/B00YZ2ZASG
The book is great fun and I highly recommend it. It's a fun and light-hearted fantasy adventure that isn't afraid to poke fun at conventions, and is full of loveable and funny characters. You should totally go check it out. :)
The book's own description:
"Susan wants to become a hero and what better way than vanquishing a dark lord? But she gets in over her head quickly, not only defeated, but transformed into a pet dragon for him. But this is only the start of her quest, as to cure her curse, she undertakes a mission for the dark lord himself. Stuck transforming into a dragon, whether it's convenient or not for her, she must face everything from demons and monstrous beasts, to hostile plush toys. With her companions, a dark faerie dragon and a diminutive foxling mage, she may just become the hero she's attempting to be, or she might end up becoming a monster."

Thanks! :) The concept was all hers, and it was really interesting to do, playing with such a stark contrast. Different from anything I've done before. :) But yeah the book itself has been out for a while, just missing a cover, so she asked me if I'd be willing to help out with that. ^^
