I hope that, for the sake of the remake, they'll be able to do the most to combine the best aspects of the original and SNES games.

For example, you and your prison bitch were a lot tougher in the Arcade version, but had much more in the way of interesting attack patterns in the SNES port.

Combine that, and that would be a great time to be had...

agreed....though I really didn't care for those newer games.

I mean, in my opinion the only decent TMNT game in the last few years, was that GBA game based on the CG flick. Which pains me, because I DID pay money for more Triceraton love...
