Wow! That's a great long exposure! I can't seem to ever get a good one. Did you use a tripod?

thank you so very much!

i did use a tripod...if not it gets all blurry...but you can also set the camera on something sturdy if you dont have a tripod...

I've tried doing that so many times! It's frustrating, but I can never get it right! When blurriness isn't the case, I tend to over or underexpose as well...

I'll get it someday!

awww yes you will!!!! since it was so dark on that overpass i was on i held the shutter open for about 30 seconds. but depending on how much light is around...like in the day it would much less then that....you can play around with it and find the right amount of time! have you ever tried a pin hole camera???
