Considering Jake's background in synthpop music before he joined The Pascal Farful Band, something of this ilk makes sense as a cover song. Yes, I do like the original. No it doesn't do my metal integrity much good. But deal with it :P
What I don't like however, was how this turned out... I'm somewhat unsatisfied with a fair bit of it, mostly the bridge and pre-chorus area, in a more musical sense than a production one, which does technically fall on the song itself more than me (excuses, I know). This one won't be on the record, I have another version which has a modified arrangement to retrofit it out of Disco configuration that somewhat gets around many of my personal gripes with this one songwriting wise. That one may well end up on the record, but we'll see.
Song composed by Jimmy McShane, Maurizio Bassi and Naimy Hackett. Originally recorded by Baltimora in 1985
