I sucked really hardcore at all fighters.

This is gonna place me as real old...

... but as arcade games go, my favorite was World Heroes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Heroes ) because it was pretty simple, and I didn't need to try pulling the joystick up and in a semicircle to the right while hitting A and C simultaneously and not getting hit by the computer's character setting the background to flaming hell while unleashing some 24 kick strike against my hapless character.

I LOVED World Heroes! One of my favorite fighters of all time! Right after Samurai Shodown!

I liked Samurai Shodown - but I wasn't good at it.

I liked World Heroes, and I was okay at it.

I didn't especially like Mortal Kombat, and I wasn't good at it. I didn't really get into Street Fighter, and I wasn't good at that either.

I wasn't especially good at Nightstalkers, but I loved loved loved loved loved it to pieces. It rocked my little world so hard.

Nightstalkers was pretty cool, too, yeah. I liked 2D fighters a good bit, though I never Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, either.
