Hrump! Back in my day, tv's were expensive cat-warmers! Cats sprawling themselves over the top of a tv set, a thing of the past? No! Now you've given them something to knock over and then sprawl over the top of the tv!
Deceptive screen-measurement numbering? Letterbox errors? God help us all if the men in charge ever try to "update" the litter box the same way.

I read that images on a TV screen won't mean much to a cat unless it's a total dumbass. Apparently, a cat's brain processes information much faster than a human brain, so while our slower CPU coupled with persistence of vision allows us to see a moving image, to a cat the screen has nothing but a bunch of changing and pulsating colors.
