This 3 inch glass vial necklace contains a very tiny dry-preserved embryo/unhatched rat snake (preserved by me using formalin injection followed by borax and salt drying.) The precious snake is curled around a spear of clear quartz crystal and clutches a sprig of dried yellow/purple wildflowers in its coils. The snake rests on a tuft of dried green moss and is accompanied by a tiny seashell and a few dandelion 'wish seeds.' All plants dry-preserved by me. The wee snakeling is a natural decease that never hatched, and I carefully removed it from the egg - which was given to me by a breeder - in my most delicate mummification project to date.
