Alright so i know I normally do not do backgrounds and this is in fact the FIRST digital background i have ever tried! And this took about 8 to 9 hours from start to finish!


And yes yes I know he is a MLP youtuber but i am still a big fan! So when he started this art contest I couldn't pass it up! Link to his channel here

Here is the story behind it!

Kaida the dragon queen was a big fan of Tyandaga’s. She really enjoyed his videos, and found them to very entertaining, but sadly he lived in the MLP universe, and she lived in the “furry” universe, so it seemed she wouldn’t get the chance to meet him. Lucky for her, her universe and his had a great thing called magic! So she came in contact with him, via a letter, and they both agreed on a day and time to make the portal to transport him to her universe for a visit. With the help of Twilight and Kaida’s magic advisers, they successfully created the portal! Twilight warned him that this portal may be like the mirror that sent her to the human universe, so he may change a lot. Ty swallowed and took the step through, but something felt funny when he stepped through to the other side, he wasn’t on all fours anymore, just like twilight said. But he still had his antlers and fur, so he couldn’t be human, but he wasn’t exactly a normal reindeer anymore. He was anthro, and he took on a beefier and more reindeer like build and appearance. After Kaida assisted him with his new form, she offered him some food. Dinner passed and he asked about her castle and she gave him a tour around it and the outside gardens and city. The city was peaceful and the dragon folk where welcoming and friendly, and the gardens and forests where full of life and color. He was impressed and she was ecstatic that he liked it! She was a big fan and was glad that they could be friends! At the end of the day, they said their good byes and he made his way home. Since then they have stayed in contact through letters.
