I love drawing sand cats, and thought they would be fitting for a sketch about the EO on immigration. We shouldn't turn people away when they are seeking a new/ better life. They don't have a home to go back to.

I like the idea of using a shorter/ more compact figure for them, but I think that would work better in a different context for my work- like a children's book or illustration with a bit less gravity. Since this is a political piece, I wanted to keep the figures more human-like in stature. Just a personal choice. :)
