This strange man is pretty much like any other human...except for one particular detail.

He lives in five different dimensions at the same time, somehow, his existence was split in five different dimensions and he retains the memories of all of them, making him an extremely intelligent and adaptive person. Secrets to technology, magic, elements and creatures hardly can be hidden to him, there are few beasts he can't tame and even fewer people he can't manipulate through just speech alone. Edward is by great part a pacifist, preferring to solve disputes by talking instead of battle.
However if he was to be taken from one of his dimensions he would be taken from all of them, disappearing until he is returned once more. Two of them, I admit are a bit fan-made, but oh well...

-In one world he is the overseer of a secret organisation that tries to Understand supernatural, extra-dimensional and alien creatures, Learn from them and with them and Protect humanity from them as well them from humanity.
-In another he has been crowned king and married to a beautiful elven princess after saving the kingdom from a demonic invasion.
-In another he inherited a farm from his grandfather, having the main goal of attempting to gather one of each pokemorph, in this reality, pokemorphs are anthropomorphic pokemon that share this world with humans.
-Yet in one more he inherited a farm but this time from his parents, in this farm, unlike the previous, Edward requires to take care of creatures such as Drider, Hellhound, Holstaurus and the like.
-And finally in a world where restaurants are trying to gain popularity by getting their hands on animatronics, Edward is the one that is forced to face the true horrific secrets behind these mechanical monstrosities.
