A much more, or is it less, effective weapon. The RPG round count has doubled to 8, the solid rounds have been replaced and the weapon now fires energy bolts from the Mechs power supply and since there isn't any need to lug around those extra magazines it has lightening the load, but not by much. Keeping a wingman or two is still the path of victory and survival for the pilot of the mech that is equiped with this.
Not sure what rocket size the RPG pods would fire, can't think of anything that would complement the bore size of the gatling barrels. A CIW? And does a CIW really exist? -shrugs- I guess another reason i quit the stories was because I found myself putting to much effort into finding weapons that would fit into a weapon almost as long as a extended cab pick-up truck or longer. Anyhow if there is a suggection for the size the rockets could be then suggestions would be great.

Um. the RPGs would be very destructive to buildings and lightly armored mech suits. The rounds from teh EGA (Energy Gatling Armament) would be a like sticking a heated knife into a slab of butter. But I plan for an armor type that lessens the damage taken by beam weapon later in the story... if i can ever get around to it.
Its kinda what I planned. A beam deflecting armor system, but it can only deflect until its individual energy supply is gone. After that the pilot better have leveled the playing field. Unlike the i-fields in the gundam series its kinda unfair to be impervious to everything all the time. I like to leave loop holes.
well the story will change from solid projectile weapon to beam weapons at some point in the story. So that means everyone good and bad will have beam weaponry. But if a system that could convert beam weapon attacks into energy then that'd mean beam swords would also be inneffective again it brings about my issue against things being too impervious to attack.
