Well as I said in the the comment part of the last image I'd work on posting this up and well here it is.
The Gatling Cannon fires something close to the main cannons off a battle ship. Its deadly, effective, but it makes your mech even SLOWER than when using the Dual Gatling Armament. Planning on making a version that has side mounted rockets, though I don't recall any such version in any of the stories it may make a cameo if/when i rewrite them.
Tactics for this monster would be the same as the others, two to three man team, teammates provide the enemy with a distraction while the badboy carrying this comes in and gives everyone a healthy dose of led. Also like the others its mounted on the arm for humanoid mechs and on the back or side for beastial mechs.
I think the first character(s) to use this particular weapon were -forgot their names- but they were more or less my version of the Black Tri Stars from the original Gundam Series, even more so their Humanoid type mechs were Dom rip-offs that I called Sliders, because well they had the hover craft like legs of the Dom/Rick-Doms. While on the subject of the MS's of the Gundam series I LOVED the Zeon mobile suits. The Gouf, Dom, Gelgoog, Hy-gogg, and a few others were used as references when i started trying to make my own mechs. If i could remember the names for all the humanoid mechs in the story I'd list them and what Gundam Series Mobile Suit I used as a base to make it. but all I can really say is the Slider was based off the Dom, which i really loved the most out of all the Zeon mobile suits.
Anyhow, big gun woo-hoo!

could this theoretically be attached to the shoulder of a humanoid mecha? (appropriatloy counterbalenced of course)
after all, it's going to impede you no matter where you put it, and perhaps not forcing the arm to take it's full weight (and then aim it) might have advantages...
