Did you ever have one of those mornings -- you know, when you wake up and discover you've become a unicorn princess?

Thank you! I'm very glad you like it so much.
I thought it was pretty good at the time I drew it, but I'm generally not very happy with my older art, especially as time goes by. Which just makes me think I should do some more work with this character. There's a backstory, of sorts; if you're interested drop me a private note and I'll fill you in.

That would be cool! Is it just me, or is she wearing a variation of the Princess Daphne getup from Dragon's Lair?
IMO you got all the proportions for the legs and head and everything right, not certain what you'd be disappointed about. There is a shortage of good unicorn art, so more is always welcome ;)
(Of course, I'm not certain I'd ever get enough :p)

Princess Daphne -- that's entirely possible, though I don't recall exactly what I had in mind at the time. Probably a cross between Princess Daphne and something Alicia (from Vicky Wyman's Xanadu) might have worn.
Thanks again for the compliment! One of the things I find most challenging about unicorn ladies is getting their heads/faces to look just right. Proportions are very tricky and, in this particular case, there's also the dreaded perspective to deal with.

That's what she gets for going to sleep with her glasses on ;P
The closest I've come to this is to take my glasses off, forgetting to put them on the side table, and rolling over on them in my sleep, and then all that came of it was having to get a new set (which I had a new prescription for on hand, luckily(?)).
