I hear the reason the scenes looked so cheap was because he chewed them beyond recognition every single take.

Seriously, though, the guy is an underrated legend. He was heavily involved in supporting indie film projects and arts education initiatives in his native Puerto Rico, and agreed to take the role of M. Bison purely because his kids loved the video games. And I'll be damned if I've ever seen a finer Gomez Addams. Rest in peace, you magnificent bastard. =,(

Except in the Japanese original version he had a different name. I think he's Vega in the original. And M Bison is the boxer but Mike Tyson the boxer thought he was being made fun of and forced capcom to change the name to Balrog. Or something like that. I forgot how the whole story goes.
