So I realized last month I was drawing a similar thing once a month, so I figured, what better way to monitor progress, than to intentionally draw a similar thing every month! I must say, I do like how this one turned out, and it took less time too. The face looks a little better, the mane looks more even, and again, it took less time for some improvement than last.

Still need to work on shading, I sort of just fiddled around with the gradient tool for this. Also, closed eyes proved to be surprisingly more tricky to get looking right than open eyes. Oh, and mouths. Need to work on mouths. But the stuff I have to work on is more complicated than before, which is progress too, so yay!
