Going to submit the uncolored version of this to the Furfright 2009 conbook
There was something I always found creepy about cartoony fursuits... I was never sure what until one day I saw a burger king commercial with "the king", which I also find creepy, and made the connection.... those wide eyes, big frozen smile, and the over-eagerness to invade personal-space.
But what I do love is old comics.... the ones that were heavy on the black ink, and had bad coloring on top in toxic colors.
It's been a while since I actually drew SilvaNoir (my fursona, the coyote-dragon)

I think the ones that look more like animals are actually kind of cool,
but the ones with the big smiles, and big eyes... and made of fur that looks like old bathroom rugs stitched together, that look like mascots that escaped a sports game and insist on hugging every total stranger they come across.... those give me the creeps. For the same reason clowns and the burger king give other people the creeps.

..You know, I think people who used to own Teletubbies also had nightmares like these. In light of that, I think this happens to work.
Though I will admit, I happen to like how you drew the fursuit there. With that vapid, yet soulless glare that could only be made by a murder doll. (I think originally Chucky had that stare.)
I think I can respect the theme in this picture myself..
