Does this have any influence from dunkleosteus? Truly an underrated water giant that doesn’t get enough love!
And your world building is fantastic, I love all the details on the evolutionary origin, its certainly a unique scenario for extraterrestrial live. Would you ever add more details on the other organisms that might have lived there? It would be neat to see alternate designs for life below, and I wonder if certain organisms could have evolved sight even if it was just to help guide them by the dim light of the thermal vents.

I will surely continue building different species for this setting, I am just not sure if there will be more for this exact world. It was a homeworld once, yes, but not a very relevant one.
And yes, I drew some inspiration from ancient extinct species, also the dunkleosteus, of course.
