In the ancient Greek, Pyrois means "Firey one".
Pyrois is one of the four immortal steeds of the ancient Greek sun god, Helios.
He is the 'heavy lifter' of the great sun chariot: A four-winged steed of strength. When he's flying, he flames like the sun chariot itself. Pyrois is the one most likely to set fire to earth if the team flew too close to the planet's surface. But he's good at what he does, and he's strong and hardly ever tires out. Pyrois is the most gregarious of the four sun dragons, always high strung: Quick to action, quick with a comeback, always laughing, always looking for attention. If Pyrois was in a rock band, he would probably be described as having a David Lee Roth kind of personality.

He's a charger: Sometimes loud; sometimes quiet and sensual, but always hot!
