Many, many years had passed since Orchid made off with the valuables and heirlooms from her family, and in that time, both of her parents had time to die of old age. Unfortunatly however due to her father being a ghost type, he was able to come back, and this time he planned on sabotaging his daughter's marriage... by possessing her.

It started with a few nightmares, which drew the poor Gardevoir into a very stressed state that her friends thought was her lack of affection with Red. After some persuation, they both booked a 3 month vacation to spend together, something they very much needed. However Orchid's father followed along, attacking his daughter every moment she closed her eyes... after about 2 weeks, while the two were in their hotel suite, her father finally managed to take control of her body. Red, concerned about his wife, tried to make sure she was okay, but her father possessing her replied with some very harsh and borderline below belt words which made Red run off to the bathroom to cry.

The possessed woman followed him, and after some more yelling, Red put two and two together... this was not his wife that was in charge of that body! As a Typhlosion, Red was very limited on what kind of moves he could use that would be super effective to her dad, but not to Orchid herself. Thankfully, Red knew one move, his one and only dark type; Fling. Orchid's fairy type was what saved her that day, and as her body was hit by a flung candle holder, her father's soul was knocked out of her body and landed on the floor against the wall.

Very angrily, Red started using Shadow Claw on his soul, yelling at him for taking over his wife. His soul was very visibly damaged by each slash, and Red would've finished the job... had Orchid not stepped up behind him and said 'Red, move'. Turning around, Red saw an expression on his wife that he had never seen before... one of pure, unfiltered anger and hatred. He immedietly jumped to the side.

Staring down at her father's soul, Orchid lifted a hand to conjure a Shadow Ball, while her father lifted his own, trying to calm her down. "W-wait Orchid, I can make your life better! I ca-AAAARGH!" his pleas were fully ignored, as Orchid slammed down Shadow Ball after Shadow Ball, no change in her expression at all as his soul was being destroyed more and more and more. "Die... die. Die! HURRY UP AND DIE!!!"

As his soul was permanently destroyed by one last Shadow Ball with his screaming voice echoing through the suite, Orchid took a few seconds before falling on her knees, sobbing loudly. Red immedietly went over to hug her, the two sitting there, rocking back and forth until the sun rose again. Her father would never come back again, and Orchid has no remorse over destroying his soul still to this date.
