After gestating in my Scraps folder for about a month, my eleventh character makes his debut as a color image.

"Konani" is a rabbit inspired by and patterned after a hentai manga character named "Kaoru Ichinose" that appeared first in "Home Delivery for 4:30pm" (a chapter of "St. Penalty Academy") and more prominently in "Be Honest No.2"(NSFW), both by Royal Koyanagi.

As is his inspiration, Konani is a cross-dresser who manages (I hope) to pull off the look well enough to throw off most people looking at him for the first time without a scorecard. (the original character appears to have been the only boy in his immediate family, and was raised as a girl by his mother and sister). My interpretation knows he's a "trap" and derives great pleasure in using his "surprise" to forment chaos while playing it off with the most innocent-looking expression. Despite this, he readily falls into a submissive role when carnal activities are afoot, and that's where his bisexuality comes into play--he's quite capable of "pitching", but much prefers to "catch" (with a reacharound as the cherry on top)--see the manga linked above for an example. There's also that thing about rabbit libido, which along with the aforementioned means he is quite suited for x-rated antics here on FA, just like Nei'Chelle (but with more versatility since he's not a nudist).

Technical: a fair amount of credit goes to  zenmigawa, whom I consulted for guidance in setting aspects of this character's appearance, notably his fur and hair color, not to mention the accent streak running down his left bang, and the overall color of the school uniform he's wearing here, which hews closely to the style of those in "Be Honest #2". In future works I intend to have him appear in an assortment of school uniform styles much like Tina, but more manga/anime influenced. After some deliberation, I chose purple for his eye color, just for a touch of exotica.

The other major suggestion provided was that he have a unisex name, and for that I trawled through a list of more than 900 names that are (or were) considered suitable for either sex. After discarding many whom had originally been unisex, but over time went one way or the other, and some others that corresponded to the names of people I knew in RL, I settled on "Konani", a Hawaiian name meaning "bright" (according to # Coincidentally, "Kaoru" is on the list too, meaning "fragrant".

While this character, being derived from a character in a manga is less than completely original, some research indicates that Kaoru Ichinose himself is a derivative of another Royal Koyanagi character. In an earlier manga, "Welcome to the Secret Fantasy Hot Spring" ( also NSFW) there is a female character who is a dead ringer for Kaoru. Well, at least mine wears glasses :D

(Note, for those who watched me stream the coloring of this on 1/29, I did eventually find the cause of the horrid echoing whenever I said anything--the webcam behind me had an active mike that I had to shut off in Open Broadcaster. So next stream should be free of voice pollution.)
