I wanted to show my support for the Standing Rock Sioux. I have no means of traveling or being with them physically, so I draw. I also miss drawing horses.
The army had already pulled out and we thought work on DAPL would stop. Now Trump has signed an executive order to resume work. This is a huge danger to the water both for the Sioux, and for everyone else downstream.

lol I looked at a bunch of mamba photos when I was looking for references, but the cobra just seemed to work better visually. :)
I also wanted to include the emblem on the snake somewhere, so I chose a cobra shape since lots of them have markings on the backs of their hoods. That and cobras' fangs look more threatening than a mamba's in my opinion. :P
