A commission for 
VDOPlus of his Egyptian themed character, Kepi, who I was the original designer of. I'm very fond of Egyptian themed characters and even just yesterday was wondering to myself why I have no made one. Kepi here is sort of protecting her desert world from some unseen danger.
Typical to my black paper, prismacolor pencil space art, I do limited lighting and I think it really shines in particular on this piece because of all the little details on Kepi's body. The nebula background was lazily added like nebulae usually are to my work. The lightning effects were a spontaneous idea not in the original sketch.
