I so wished that my scanner didn't destroyed this. It had so much detail and shading. But stil I think it is worth the look

The general rule of thumb for goshawks (and Accipiter hawks in general) is that the young of the year have yellow/orange eyes, and they become more red/mahogany with age, but there is considerable variation between individual birds. It's too bad it's not a stronger correlation -- otherwise, you'd have a handy field aging tool. (I studied goshawks for three years as an undergrad. I miss those days!)
Goshawks are very striking and handsome birds. If I were in avian form, I'd definitely be a gos. You've done a great job here of depicting both the species' appearance and their intense, focused gaze.
