I saw this pose in an anime picture and wanted to try it out for myself. Note to self: even if you have a model to work off of, getting a new, tricky pose to look right can be a grueling process. Especially if your model is human (or an anime equivalent) and the figure you're drawing is not!
This ewok fur pattern is particularly difficult; I've only used it twice before. (The others were Xorak and my GLC Ewok.)
The bow and cape were both fun to do. Especially the cape. I wanted to take the "white fur and pink cape" design that was used for Princess Kneessa in the cartoon and recreate it into something less "girly". Doing all the feathers on the bow took a lo-o-ong time, since they each had to be painted and shaded individually to look right. (The whole picture took about 24 hours spread over several days.)
Ultimately, I'm very pleased. I think this is possibly my best artwork ever.
