Here we have a fun experiment I did as a gift for a friend. I delved into my book on heraldry and put together a coat of arms which features their personal Alphyn character. Colors are purple, silver, and black. Everything has meaning, either official heraldic or personal.

The Alphyn is hand-sculpted Sculpey, relief-style, glued securely to a wooden circle. Painted with acrylic. Back features a thingy for hanging on the wall, and a personal dated message (which I am not showing, it being personal and all).

I greatly enjoyed creating this 3D "shield" and would be open to discussing commissions for such should anyone be interested.
