Where does the darkness end and the light begin?

The Pilgrim is a being born of life who is naturally gifted to the Darkness Element. This may be due to a prior contractual agreement/sacrifice performed by a parent of the birthed child or by an ancestor who cursed their lineage or being birthed from a mother that copulated with a Demon and rarer yet a mother who was afflicted by a Darkness element and survived to give birth. Either way, a Pilgrim retains both Body and Mind but their Spirit is withheld by their patron Demon/Devil. This allows for a strong connection to the Darkness Element and the ability to act as a puppet/meat-suit for Demons and Devils.
