From a newspaper from 1934...article on hard times and homeless labourers migrating across the country looking for work, even women. The article writer mentions that this young "hobo" would not agree to have her picture taken unless he bought her a pretty new blouse and stockings as a sure fire way to get rides.

Was collecting some old photo ref for new pic and trying to come up with scenario and new character...another hobo bunny who was very different than Patches. Some one who lives by her wits...(influenced by movie Paper Moon) - i'd give her a name, but i don't think she uses the same name from town to town. Then thought i'd collage a few photos together, rework them, and use them as a bg...didn't make for a great composition or pose...but...fun.
The "Official" pic will in same-ish style as other BOTR pics ... a scenario i'm considering is night time train yard - of her escaping from three "rail dicks" (rail yard detectives/security) who are hunting her and other hobos with clubs and shotguns....a bit edgier than my other BOTR pics...
