Here it is, here is the final Pokemon team piece that I'll ever need. A showcase of all the Pokemon that have been seriously an important part of my life in my career with Pokemon. At least, not including the starters and the other Pokemon that I've given their due credit. These 14 though, these 14 Pokemon are sitting high on the list of Pokemon that have been incredibly important to me over the years, and will remain so for years to come.
Maybe at some point, I'll provide an elaboration in this description on why each one is so important to me, but for now, I'll just share them here for you all to see.

Tentacruel is definitely one of mine. With the games pretty much always requiring the use of a water-type for surfing, I've found myself constantly choosing Tentacruel despite all the other available options because most water-types just aren't particularly interesting, have annoying quirks such as needing stones to evolve, or are just unavailable whereas Tentacool can be caught in pretty much every game.
On top of that, one of my most memorable and consistent strategies from Gen 1 was to give Tentacruel Toxic, and Wrap.

As for the rest, I don't really have a particular history with any of them. I've used some, but none have really stood out quite the same in general over the years. I do love Beedrill though, and was ecstatic when I saw its Mega Evolution. The day I heard of Mega Evolutions being added to X/Y, I was like, "You know who desperately needs a Mega Evolution? Beedrill." And sure enough ORAS introduced it, and I practically leaped from my skin in excitement.
One unusual stand-out Pokémon for me though has always been Paras. Not because it's good, or even because I ever used it throughout the entire game. But because I've always hated nicknaming, but whenever I did use nicknames, I always called my Paras by the name Mushtopper, because it puts mushrooms on things. Even though I still to this day never use nicknames, that particular one always stuck with me as a favorite ever since Gen 1, especially among the other totally generic names I'd come up with, like Sparky for Pikachu, and Flappy for Pidgey. You can bet your ass if I were to ever start using nicknames, and caught a Paras, the name Mushtopper would rise again.
