I've been struggling for the past month with my art. I've been nonstop confused, concerned, uncertain, and down about it. Art is something that I want to make a career out of. It's my passion in life and maybe it's just because of the move, the new job and classes starting up, but it's been really draining and stressful to try new things and work on improving.

I made this piece because I wanted something that was a bit of a pick me up for how I was feeling. A vent art of sorts? Except something a little more uplifting. We all get into ruts and I've always tried hard to be the kind of person to persevere through troubling times. It's hard. Of course, I'm not doing it alone. I have my fantastic boyfriend to help me. <3 But hopefully this weird funk will pass soon so I can get back to working on improving and making the art that I want to.
