I'm sure I've seen once a movie or a TV show with a (white) woman doing the jungle queen. Sheela? Sheena? Sheila? Something like that. Well, if I recall correctly, that lady used to be portraied on a tree, pretending she was a girly Tarzan. So, why couldn't my African Queen do the same? :D
The brown thing on her back is a liquor that usually hippos secrete, called "blood sweat," although it is not blood, nor sweat.
Can you see that seagull on the branch? He's wondering how the queen managed to reach that branch and how could it sustain her weight. Well, he will be a sort of avatar for me; the main character from my current short story is a a seagull (a kittiwak, or Rissa tridactyla), and, since he's very close to me, I've chosen to put a seagull from time to time into my drawings. Usually for humour. =P
