I had a Christmas themed idea for one of
Blue443's charming characters!

"This is going to be a Christmas to remember," declared Bluenight with a confident smile. He knew it would, for this was the year that the Hasia boys had put their colorful heads together and come up with the perfect gift for Blue. They had every reason to believe he would look back on it fondly for years to come. There was just one problem... Lemon.
Bluenight and Ice both realized that Lemon's excitable and, well, talkative nature could lead to the unraveling of all their carefully-laid Christmas plans. Lemon, such an innocent dragon, did not have a single mean bone in his body... But he could not keep a secret to save the whole universe, and Christmas was still a whole week away.
Their gift's secrecy - Lemon's silence - had to be ensured.
And so on their own, Bluenight and Ice had to invent a solution. With a heavily-applied combination of charisma and flattering language, they managed to convince Lemon that he, in fact, was part of the gift! How exciting!
Well, to be honest, it was a little confusing to Lemon. Why was he a gift? He didn't know, but when Bluenight and Ice came into the room bearing ribbons and bows, Lemon was sold. He bounced excitedly in place as they curled generous amounts of ribbon around him, securing it as best as they could given their wiggly gift. The finishing touch was a tightly-wound ribbon around the end of his snout, with a huge fancy bow on top.
"Now Lemon," they told him, "Be careful with your wrappings. You don't want to damage that lovely bow, right?" In reply, Lemon vigorously shook his head from left to right. But then he noticed the bow flopping around on the end of his muzzle, and with a worried look, stopped his head movements.
"Good! You'll do great!" complimented Bluenight. Lemon beamed happily.
Confident that the situation had been saved, the three went their separate ways to wait out the next seven days until Christmas.
But mere hours later, a high-pitched whine erupted from the kitchen. It was soon accompanied by the frantic pattering of panicked footsteps. The wailing continued, steadily raising in pitch, until finally Bluenight and Ice burst into the room. Had a mouse broken into the kitchen? Did someone burn themselves? Was there a fire?!?
It was none of those things. In fact, if you had made a list of what the problem was most likely to be, none of your answers would have been correct.
At his brothers' entry, Lemon's frenzied pacing stopped. He sat on his haunches in the middle of the room, and held in his paws was a jumbo-sized chocolate chip cookie, coated in festive sprinkles.
"What's wrong, Lemon?!" exclaimed his startled siblings.
In response, Lemon brought the cookie to his face to eat it, but the cookie remained cruelly trapped on the outside of his lips. Ice's paws hit his own face in a light-speed facepalm. The ribbons! For all their cleverness, they had failed to account for the fact that still Lemon needed to eat. Obviously.
This was no good, and to communicate that sentiment, Lemon made a face and a high-pitched whine so pitiable that there was no creature on Earth or in all the heavens that could witness a pout of this intensity and feel nothing.
But the plan could not be compromised - Christmas MUST remain spoiler-free.
With an idea glimmering in his eyes, Ice disppeared briefly, returning after a short minute in possession of... a hammer? Lemon's eyes darted around as he silently watched Ice's idea take form.
First, Ice grabbed a mug out of a nearby cabinet and filled it with milk. A good enough start.
Next, a straw went in. So far so good.
Then, Ice snatched the cookie from Lemon's paws. Using the hammer, he utterly pulverized it in a series of loud, rapid strikes. Lemon jumped, yelping from between his sealed jaws. He lowered his head in mourning, but his grief was quickly interrupted by the mug being thrust in front of him. Crumbs of the murdered cookie now swirled in the milk.
The contents of the drink were gone in a matter of seconds. Immediately, and squealing with joy, Lemon set to flinging open cabinets in search of more fun things to put in his mug.
And that was how Lemon's silence that Christmas was bought with an entire city's supply of hot chocolate.
