Well as a suiter, there's a fursuit lounge in the convention center AND in the Westin. Access between the two, for fursuiters at least, are across a sky bridge and up one floor on a very slow set of elevators.
You can walk outside OR take the scissor steps when they're open also. It's a lot of walking.
