Anywho, I thought I color a few old pictures. This is from a group of sketches I did back in November 2007 (after Youmacon 2007), inspired by e09etm's Sonic NextGen calendars on DA. I would have scanned them and colored them sooner, but when my Mom died in February of 08, I just didn't have the will to work on them.
This one features Rico in action.

And would you know, for the first time ever... I USED MY PEN TABLET FOR THE LINEART! YAY!! **boogie**
But not in PhotoShop! The Lineart was done using PaintTool SAI. Everything esle was done in PhotoShop, and I used my tablet for the shadowing and highlights, too! ;3
I also tried out some new ideas for coloring, such as adding more shiney highlights, and a texture. Meltina on DA gave me the idea.

So I really should pat myself on the back for this one. Now I'll will say, the lineart still looks shitty, since I don't have steady hands, but I like how this came out, since it bring out how I utilize my tablet. Although I don't like how the highlights came out for the light source for the light saber.
