As promised! I finally got around to playing with the glass kids some more x] And then...I did something I told myself I would not....I got attached. Especially to Letterman boy, there. But if you really want to own one of them, I'll let them go for $20 each.
Here's some of the current storyline of the glass kids
In an alternate dimension, the kids of the 1950s are living in a world polluted by toxic air. Some children take to it okay, while others are born with lungs too weak to pull in that thick and septic air. But thanks to the crazy science experiments of the time, the illuminated minds have created glass bowls in which the sickly can breathe clean air. They fill them with liquid oxygen, but kids--always wanting to show off their individuality-- have used their bowls to express themselves in different ways. Some fill them with decorations, food coloring or (as you see here) flowers and soda.
Letterman (Belongs to kraikrai on DA): Yeah, he likes coca-cola. After filling up his bowl with cola a few times, he found out he could earn college money by advertising the company on his bowl. His friends call him the cola king.
Star: Her parents wanted to see their baby go to Hollywood. What a disappointment when they found that she would have to become one of the tragic Glass Kids. She still thinks she can make it, though. It'll just be a challenge to maneuver the kissing scenes in the romance films..
