This pompous group of "gentlemen" are enjoying a spot of tea for their weekly book club. Gerald, red monster on the right, has a habit of taking over the conversation, his big mouth flapping unendingly. Sir Richard on the left, takes umbridge with Gerald's proclamations. He has very strong opinions about books and doesn't take differing opinions lightly. Quigley meanwhile is happy to listen to either side of the discussion, occasionally nodding and chipping with "Interesting" and "Indeed" and occasionally "I say!"

Finished? Sweet! Gerald looks as though he would feed himself by passing food from hand to hand. The wall of servant arms in Jean Cocteau's 1946 production of Beauty and the Beast do something similar with candelabra et cetera.
